Monaz Mevawalla recently opened up about taking up Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal’s role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah

While the audience adores the show, it has been one of the trending topics of discussion on the internet for its bad publicity. From the makers constantly teasing the fans about Dayaben’s return to many actors leaving the show and making shocking claims about the poor management, fans have been left feeling disappointed. Amidst it all, actress Monaz Mevawalla joined the show and replaced Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal for the role of Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi.
In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Life, Monaz opened up about taking the opportunity despite Jennifer openly talking about facing mental and sexual harassment from the makers of the show. For the unversed, actresses Monika Bhadoriya and Priya Ahuja Rajda too had extended their support to the actress. While talking about if she ever felt skeptical of taking up the role due to the allegations, she expressed that everyone has different experiences. The 38-year-old actress went on to add that she does not want to comment on Jennifer’s experiences as she received a warm welcome from the makers, the cast, and the crew. Quoted by the entertainment portal, she added, “Everyone has different experiences. Jennifer ke sath hua hoga. Mujhe nahi pata actually. Mai sirf apne bare mein bol sakti hu ki mere sath toh aisa kuch bhi nahi hua hai. The production, the direction, the actors and everybody else has been so nice and encouraging. Mere sath toh pura experience alag hi raha hai. Further talking about her experience of working with Modi, she explained that the producer has been nothing but supportive of her. Mevawalla shared how he has motivated her and made her believe that she can play the role of Roshan. She went on to add that she has a completely different opinion about them.
